Government
The government of Ursannaia is a unitary government, and they use a democratic system. Everyone carrying an Ursannaian passport is allowed to vote, as long as they are over 18 years old. Ursannaia has a parliamentary system, where people vote for parties to represent them in the House of Representatives, which has 150 seats in total. The more votes a party get, the more seats they receive. From there, the members of the Senate, which has 75 seats in total, will be elected by the members of a group called the "States-Provincial", which represents the provinces of Ursannaia. The Senate and the House of Representatives are the people who will make all the decisions, and they will all come together and debate on topics before voting on what to do. The leader of the party with the most seats in the House of Representatives becomes the Prime Minister. Each term is four years long, and there is no limit to how many times one person can be Prime Minister in a row.
This system of government means that everyone will feel involved, and the action that the government takes won't be questioned as harshly. There also isn't one specific person that is given a lot of power, which means it is less likely that a leader will become corrupt, and nobody can abuse their power because any changes they want to make needs to be run by several people. The many different parties mean that everyone will be able to find at least one party that they agree with, and the representatives are voted on by the citizens themselves, so that everyone in the country is represented. Also, because there is no limit to how many times a person can be Prime Minister in a row, if there is someone in power who most of the population are happy with then that person can continue to stay Prime Minister for as long as the people want them to.

MonarchyUrsannaia doesn't have a President because it is a Kingdom, not a republic, and they still recognize their Queen as their Head of State. However, the monarchy in Ursannaia is constitutional, and the King or Queen doesn't actually have a lot of power. Queen Stella, who is the current monarch of Ursannaia, is not responsible for the acts of the government. The monarch represents the country abroad and at home, and as Head of State, it is their role to unify, represent, and encourage the people of the country.

MilitaryEven though Ursannaia is a small country, they have a relatively powerful military. Because of their position right next to Germany, Ursannaia was active in WWII, and they were one of the countries fighting against the Nazis. Up until 2012 it was mandatory for all men to do two years of national service as soon as they graduated from high school (assuming they are 18 when that happens). Anyone from any ethnic origin, female or male, is allowed to serve in the military, as long as they are older than 18 and carry an Ursannaian passport. Ursannaia currently has 350,000 active military personnel, with several more in reserves. The Ursannaian military also has 405 tanks, 532 aircraft, and 2 submarines.
